*NEW* Forum - The new Amongst White Clouds forum was launched in order to create a community where you can discuss not only the movie, but topics like Buddhism, Buddhism in China and other topics. Director Edward Burger has said he will pop in periodically and be a part of the community. The forum has just started so we are counting on you to start up some conversations and questions to get the ball rolling.

Update - Educational speaking and screening tour - Director Edward Burger’s speaking tour has been confirmed and you can now view the schedule. The “Amongst White Clouds: Sanctuary and Responsibility” tour will be taking place through April. Amongst White Clouds will be holding a charity screening in the Director’s home town of Wooster, OH. It is a benefit for the restoration of the Sui Dynasty mountain monastery (seen in the film). Amongst White Clouds has been chosen from 1000 entries to play at the 7th annual Santa Fe Film Festival December 6 - 10. See Show Times and the festival website for more info and tickets.

The first showing of Amongst White Clouds at the Mount Shasta Film Festival has already been sold out. Contact the festival for additional screening schedule.

Amongst White Clouds will be playing in Eastern Canada at the Guelph International Film Festival (November 3 - 5). Visit the GIFF website for details and tickets.

Amongst White Clouds has been selected to play as the closing film at the Bioneers Conference in San Rafael, CA (October 20 - 22). The Annual Bioneers Conference is a hub of practical solutions for restoring the Earth - and people. It’s a thriving network of visionary innovators who are working with nature to heal nature.

Amongst White Clouds has been accepted to the Mount Shasta International Film Festival in north California. Mount Shasta is a beautiful alpine mountain town near San Francisco and the festival will be there on October 13 - 15 2006. Screening times will be posted as they are confirmed.

Amongst White Clouds has been officially accepted to be screened during the 2006 Tahoe / Reno International Film Festival, held August 23rd - 27th. The Festival promises to be one of the most spectacular summer events held in Lake Tahoe. More details to follow.
